Dr. King visited Temple B’nai Abraham, then located in Newark, where he spoke about “Challenges of the Mid-Century to Religion.” The date was January 17, 1963, 8 months before the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom where Rabbi Prinz spoke just before Dr. King delivered the iconic "I Have a Dream" speech.
