Schools of New Jersey
The heart of the Greater MetroWest Jewish community is found within the families and children of Morris/Essex/Union and Sussex Counties. William Helmreich notes that in post-war America, Jewish families became committed to their Jewish children's education and agencies like the JEA had been formed to facilitate these efforts. In this slideshow, we see some Jewish day schools as well as public schools such as Weequahic High School whose student body at one time was largely Jewish.
